Assistant Manager, Finance
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert in finance system data flows and end‑to‑end finance operations processes
Monitor and control finance system flows to ensure data accuracy and process integrity
Identify, propose, and implement system enhancements and process improvements
Collect, analyze, and document user requirements and functional specifications
Support finance‑related projects and system enhancements, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Acquire and maintain in‑depth knowledge of finance systems and related processes
Prepare and maintain clear documentation of procedures, tasks, and system changes
Manage assigned tasks and collaborate closely with Finance users and IT developers to deliver required outcomes
Facilitate effective communication and coordination across cross‑functional teams
Requirements:
Degree holder in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines
Basic knowledge of accounting
Big 4 audit experience is preferred
Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience in data management and/or project development
CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
Knowledge of insurance operations is an added advantage
PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Fluent in spoken and written English
Able to work independently and proactively to resolve issues with minimal supervision
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Good team player with high flexibility and agility
Hands-on, customer-oriented, results-driven, and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
