Int Claims Spec/Asst
Responsibilities
- Respond to claims notices received from the Call Center or other sources.
- Identify all policies held by the insured within multiple company admin systems.
- Prepare new claim file in AWD system with information for the Examiner who will pay/deny the claim.
- Monitor for requested information and send follow up letters on pending claims as needed.
- Mail claim forms and correspondence to beneficiary or representative.
- Handle escheat prep or other actions as needed.
- Track production numbers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of claims or related processing experience
- Good understanding of claims and insured search protocol
- Research skills and attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- PC proficiency to handle high volume processing
Preferred Qualifications
- Life and/or annuity claims experience

Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $37,500-$43,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
