Senior Systems Database Analyst
Open Systems Database Administrator specializing in the support and maintenance of Oracle and Imperva infrastructures. Responsibilities include ensuring stability, performance, and security of database environments across Linux, AIX, and Windows platforms.
What You Will Do:
- Manage installation, configuration, and lifecycle maintenance of Oracle DBMS and Imperva environments in both on‑premises and cloud infrastructures, enhancing system performance and stability.
- Proactively monitor all database environments to ensure availability, stability, and performance.
- Perform backup, recovery, and routine housekeeping tasks to maintain data integrity and system health.
- Manage incidents, capacity, and performance for production and development databases, resolving issues efficiently and preventing recurrence.
- Support Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and execution to maintain business continuity.
- Carry out DBA activities for new projects and enhancements to existing databases, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the on‑call rotation and provide out‑of‑hours support for critical incidents and planned changes.
What You Will Need:
Qualifications
- Extensive hands‑on experience working with Oracle databases and Imperva security solutions
- Proficient in Oracle Cluster Ready Services (CRS) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
- Strong background in logical and physical database design
- Expertise in backup, recovery, and database housekeeping
- Skilled in performance monitoring, diagnostics, and tuning of enterprise database environments
- Advanced SQL proficiency and solid scripting abilities (e.g., Bash, Korn shell)
- Practical experience administering systems on Linux and AIX platforms
- Deep technical knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, and Real Application Clusters (RAC)
Preferred
- Extensive experience with Imperva and Oracle
- Experience with AWS/Azure

Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $100,000 - $115,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Philadelphia, Denver). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
