Lead Global Architect - AI Solutions
The Lead Global Solutions Architect is responsible for the solution design, architecture, and support of systems, services, and applications that provide enterprise business capabilities, technology services, data, cloud, infrastructure, and AI solutions. This role works collaboratively with architects, engineers, and product owners to document solution architecture design for Cloud and On-Premises technology solutions, infrastructure, and tools. The Lead Global Solution Architect possesses strong technical domain knowledge in key areas relevant to our business and technical needs, ensuring the delivery of robust, resilient, and scalable technology solutions that align with our architecture principles and strategic objectives. This role provides hands-on architecture delivery, critical insights, and guidance to enable standards-aligned technology solution delivery and project execution.
What You Will Do:
- Work collaboratively with enterprise and solution architects, software, data, cloud and security engineers, and business product owners to establish solution architecture designs for Cloud and On-Premises technology solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
- Construct architectural artifacts in support of robust, reusable, scalable, and secure technology solutions leveraging approved component architecture standards, architectural patterns, and reference architectures.
- Follow best practices for the creation and delivery of architecture artifacts, document and maintain architecture standards, facilitate architecture review board approval, and contribute to the architecture repository to enable architecture reuse within the enterprise.
- Serve as an architecture advisor and validator during the build, test, validate, deploy, and operate stages of the systems development lifecycle.
- Learn and keep pace with the latest advances in the solution architecture field; rapidly grasp modern technologies to support the environment, evaluate emerging technologies for applicability to business challenges, and contribute to project requirements.
- Receive, provide, and address meaningful feedback regarding the quality of architectural artifacts produced by self or peers while embracing opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Design APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications.
- Manage stakeholder communication, presenting complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
What You Will Need:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
- Solution Architecture, Technology, and platform certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft).
- Eight years of collective experience in the technology solution design, software engineering, agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Four years of experience architecting, building, and administering complex solution architectures and technologies in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Strong skills in analytical, critical and strategic thinking and execution.
- Ability to work independently and contribute successful project outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
- Competence in managing conflict effectively within a project context.
- Proven ability to sell ideas and solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and people skills.
- Prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred
- Professional experience working within the financial services, insurance, banking or software development industry
- Thorough knowledge of open API Specification, REST, API designs, security, and implementation.
- Software development experience in relevant programming languages (i.e., Java, Python, Scala, Node.js, SQL).
Working Conditions

Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $145,600 - $168,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, IA; Philadelphia, PA; Denver, CO). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
