Licensing Specialist
Responsibilities
- Review and audit the agent contract file for required forms and documents.
- Prepare the state specific licensing/appointment paperwork.
- Add the agents to the database.
- Maintain records, handle inquires and conducts research as needed for the agent files.
- Process licensing paperwork to the appropriate states in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- Up to 1 year work experience.
- Mainframe experience.
- Basic Word and Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of State Contract and Licensing Rules.
- Customer service skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to accurately process a high volume of work efficiently.
Working Conditions
- This is a hybrid position requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Philadelphia, or Denver).
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $15.50 -$19.00 hourly. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 6% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
