Senior IT Project Manager
What You Will Do:
- Project Planning & Delivery Execution
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities across business partners, technology leads, vendors, QA, infrastructure, security, operations, and other delivery teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks or blockers, and escalate issues with clear recommendations and ownership.
- Ensure scope, timelines, assumptions, constraints, and success criteria are clearly defined and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive accountability for action items, decisions, approvals, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
- Partner with business stakeholders, technology leads, IT delivery teams, finance, operations, compliance, and vendor partners to align scope, dependencies, timelines, and outcomes.
- Facilitate project meetings, dependency discussions, issue resolution sessions, and leadership updates to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with Program Managers, portfolio leaders, and enterprise governance teams on roadmap alignment, prioritization, delivery commitments, and key milestones.
- Identify process gaps, communication needs, and delivery improvements that increase transparency, accountability, and execution quality.
What You Will Need:
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager supporting IT, enterprise technology, business enablement, or software implementation projects.
- Strong proficiency with project management, reporting, and portfolio management tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing cross-functional project teams, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communications in complex technology environments.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, SDLC practices, enterprise governance, implementation planning, testing coordination, deployment readiness, and operational transition.
- Strong communication, facilitation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- General understanding of the insurance and financial services industry
Preferred
- Experience supporting Life, Annuities, Insurance, Financial Services, or other regulated enterprise business areas.
- Experience managing projects that include vendor coordination, platform integrations, data movement, system modernization, or business process improvement.
- Experience in organizations with formal SDLC governance or enterprise portfolio management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or other project management certification preferred.

- Minimal travel, limited to planning events or workshop facilitation when necessary.
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $102,000 - $128,000. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Denver). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
